Contact inquiries

When you send our contact form, we use your name, email address, optional telephone number, selected reason, and message to respond to your inquiry. The form also asks for the student’s country of residence, because we currently work with families in the United States. If you answer outside the United States, the form sends nothing you entered and shows a short message instead. Otherwise, Vercel processes the request, and Resend delivers it to our team at hello@haddee.com. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing.

The website does not save a separate copy of your inquiry in an application database. Your email is handled by Resend and our mailbox under their configured retention settings. For questions about retention or to request deletion, contact hello@haddee.com.

To limit spam and automated use of the contact form and the booking and intake-form buttons, we use Upstash to hold short-lived counters and keyed hashes derived from a network address. These counters expire within 24 hours and contain no names, contact details, or message text. Please do not include medical information, passwords, payment details, or other sensitive records in your inquiry. The form is not for emergencies.

Location check and bot protection

We currently work with families in the United States. When you select “Book a free consultation” or open an intake form, we first ask for the student’s country of residence. If you answer outside the United States, nothing is sent, and you see a short message instead. If you answer the United States, our server checks your answer and the country that our hosting provider, Vercel, estimates from your network address. If that estimate is the United States or a US territory (Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or the Northern Mariana Islands), we send you on to Calendly or the intake form. Otherwise, or if the country can’t be determined, you see the same message instead. Your answer isn’t passed to Calendly, the intake forms, or Google. When you send our contact form, we use the same estimate only to decide whether the submission counts as a Google Ads conversion. We don’t store your answer, this estimate, or your network address.

To block automated abuse, the contact form and the booking and intake-form buttons use Vercel BotID. A check runs invisibly in your browser, using a script loaded from this website. Our server then sends the result, along with your request’s headers (including your network address and browser type) and the requested web address, to Vercel’s bot-protection service, which classifies the request. BotID sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Vercel handles this information under its own privacy terms; see Vercel’s privacy policy ↗.

Website analytics and ad measurement

On the production website, Haddee Counseling uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement. For visitors in the United States, these load automatically unless you have opted out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. For visitors outside the United States, nothing loads until you select "Accept."

Google Analytics may receive the pages you visit, referral sources (including whether you arrived from a Google ad), browser and device characteristics, approximate location derived from your network address, and interactions such as scrolling, downloads, and outbound-link clicks. Google Analytics and Google Ads use first-party cookies to recognize your browser across visits to this site: _ga and a property-specific _ga_ cookie for Google Analytics, _gcl_au for Google Ads conversion measurement, and, only if you arrive by clicking a Google ad, _gcl_aw or _gcl_ag, which store that ad-click identifier. This information is not anonymous.

We measure four actions: continuing to Calendly from "Book a free consultation," successfully sending our contact form, and clicking our email address or phone number. Each is recorded as a page-interaction event, without any form contents. Continuing to Calendly happens, and a contact-form submission counts as a Google Ads conversion, only when your answer to the country question is the United States and Vercel also estimates your location as the United States or a US territory. We never send your name, email address, phone number, message, or country answer to Google.

Our Google Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account so that Google Ads can see which ads led to consultation clicks and contact-form submissions and optimize our campaigns. We do not use remarketing, build advertising audiences, use enhanced conversions, or send contact details to Google Ads, and ads personalization is always off. We use Google Ads with restricted data processing, under which Google processes our Google Ads conversion data as our service provider.

Information we do not send

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, counseling inquiries, intake-form responses, diagnoses, or other sensitive information to Google Analytics or Google Ads. The counseling website does not host an intake form; approved intake forms open on a separate Haddee form service.

Site reliability

On the production website, we use Sentry to identify technical errors and help keep the site reliable. Sentry is not used for advertising or to build visitor profiles.

Our Sentry configuration disables session replay, performance tracing, logs, user identity, request and response bodies, cookies, headers, URL query strings, and local-variable capture. Error reports may include the affected page route, browser or runtime details, a timestamp, and a technical stack trace.

Your privacy choices

To decide whether to show the consent banner, the site sets a first-party cookie called __Host-haddee_country. It holds only a two-letter country code, which our hosting provider, Vercel, estimates from your network address, and it expires after one day. We use it only for this purpose, and we don't save your network address in the cookie or in our application. If the country can't be determined, we treat you as outside the United States.

In the United States, you can turn off analytics and ad measurement at any time by selecting "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer and choosing "Opt out." If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically. Outside the United States, nothing loads until you select "Accept," and you can withdraw by selecting "Decline."

Opting out or declining stops Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement on this site after the page reloads and clears the Google cookies listed above and related Google data in your browser's storage. Your choice is saved in local browser storage on this device and browser, so you'll need to set it again if you clear site data or use another browser. Your choice doesn't affect access to the website. Google also offers an Analytics opt-out add-on ↗.

Free consultation booking

The “Book a free consultation” buttons first ask for the student’s country of residence and check your location (see “Location check and bot protection”). If you answer the United States and you’re in the United States or a US territory, our server sends you on to Calendly, a scheduling service; otherwise, you see a short message instead. This site does not embed Calendly or send it any information about you, including your answer to our country question. When you book, Calendly receives your name, email address, the appointment time you choose, your answers to two required questions (state of residence, and the student’s high school graduation year or “Other”), and your optional answer to “How did you hear about us?” Calendly shares these details with Haddee Education so we can hold the call. Consultation calls take place on Zoom. Calendly and Zoom handle this information under their own privacy practices, including any cookies they set on their own sites: read Calendly’s privacy notice ↗ and Zoom’s privacy statement ↗.
